Upgrade offers an online marketplace lending platform. Our goal is to help unlock your credit potential while lowering the cost of credit. Two members of our founding team, Renaud Laplanche and Soul Htite, are the co-founders of LendingClub, a pioneer in marketplace lending that facilitated over $24 billion in loans and made credit more affordable for nearly 2 million American families over the last decade. Soul also founded Dianrong, one of the largest marketplace lending platforms in China.
Our founders have now designed a new credit platform that attempts to create even more value and assistance for our customers to build the future they want.
Personal loans range from $1,000 to $50,000. Loans are not currently available to residents of CT, CO, IA, MA, MD, VT, and WV. We require a minimum credit score of at least 620 to obtain a loan through Upgrade, but we take many other factors into account when determining loan eligibility, such as your loan amount, loan term, and credit usage & history.
Loans obtained through Upgrade are fully amortized with a fixed interest rate, which means you’ll never have to worry about your rate increasing. Late payments or subsequent charges and fees may increase the cost of your loan
To begin the online application, you’ll be asked some basic information in order for us to generate the offers that may be available to you. For example, we’ll need to know the purpose of your loan, or what you plan on using the loan for, as well as the amount that you would like to request.
We will also request your consent to a Credit Profile Authorization in order to obtain your credit report from one or more consumer reporting agencies.
